Introduction

Pancreatic cysts are uncommon in pediatric patients. The majority of pancreatic cysts in children are pseudocysts, either traumatic or occurring after acute pancreatitis. True congenital pancreatic cysts are extremely rare, comprising less than 1 % of all pancreatic cysts in children [8]. To the best of our knowledge, only 26 cases have been reported in the literature. We report here a case of congenital pancreatic cyst that recurred after laparoscopic subtotal cystectomy.
